Today was epic. Took a trip to go see a highly controversial and highly sought Snowy Owl. She was awake, alert, and not bothered by the fact that we were there. All of the photographers were super respectful. We stayed beyond the posted signs, we were several hundred feet away, and everyone was super cool to hang with. I have seen several Snowys prior to today. I have never seen one in flight. I am super stoked.

Why is the owl controversial? What did it say??
I couldn't find anything specific, but since I know the area where it is, there's probably just a bunch of people there bothering it.
The Snowies aren't year round residents here, and as this is very accessible between the Philadelphia and NYC areas, there are probably thousands of people that want to photograph this one. So as is usual, the people are likely the ones at the center of controversy. Should we "document" this owl or leave it alone to do its thing in peace.

I liked the faces this one made. I've been bombarded with Snowy pics, but so many look the same. I only want to give you guys the best of the best!
