iReadit – Terms of Service

TL;DR

  • We protect all lawful speech under U.S. law.
  • No illegal content (e.g., CSAM, threats, fraud, copyright infringement).
  • No unapproved advertising or spam.
  • Communities that repeatedly break these rules can be removed.
  • You’re responsible for what you post.

iReadit is a platform for open discussion and diverse viewpoints, grounded in the principles of free expression under U.S. law. We protect lawful speech, even if it is unpopular or controversial. However, certain types of content are not allowed.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not post, share, or otherwise distribute content that:

  1. Is Illegal Under U.S. Law

    • This includes, but is not limited to:
      • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
      • True threats of violence
      • Incitement to imminent lawless action
      • Fraud, identity theft, and other criminal conduct
      • Copyright infringement and other violations of intellectual property law
      • Any content prohibited by applicable U.S. federal or state law

  2. Constitutes Unapproved Advertising or Promotion

    • Unsolicited commercial promotions, spam, or self-advertisements are not allowed unless explicitly approved by iReadit administrators.

2. Community Responsibility

Communities (subforums) are responsible for moderating their own content in compliance with these Terms.
If a community repeatedly hosts or allows prohibited content, it may be removed from iReadit.

3. Enforcement

  • Administrators may remove content, ban users, or remove communities at their discretion when violations occur.
  • Enforcement is based on these Terms and applicable U.S. law.
  • Appeals can be made by emailing [email protected].

4. User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for the content you post.
  • Do not attempt to evade bans, moderation actions, or content restrictions.
  • Posting illegal content may be reported to law enforcement.

5. Liability

iReadit is a platform for user-generated content and does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for any user’s posts. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iReadit and its operators from any claims arising from your use of the platform.

6. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of iReadit after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
